Welcome to the Official Ionia County Model Aircraft Club Website.Our club was created in 2003 for the purpose of getting together and flying remote control model aircraft. We operate out of two fields.Walter Field at 8548 Morrison Lake Rd, Saranac, MI Prop Busters Flying Field at 8745 Hubbardston Rd, Hubbardston, MI There are currently 30 members including our 8 officers. We get together the 2nd Wednesday of every month for our club members meeting.

In Memory of Rodney Raterink- Club Secretary and PastorMay he rest in peace and be sadly missed by his fellow pilots from Jeff Walter Thank you for the notice of Rod's passing. I just want to let everyone know how much Rod will be missed. He was a good person and helped so many through his work as pastor. Just so everyone will know, the Ionia County Model Aircraft Club has ordered flowers and will have them delivered to the Funeral Home on Monday (Jan 11th). Rod is at Matthysse Kuiper Degraaf Funeral Home located at 4646 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood MI 49508 Phone # 616-455-1535.
Dec notes.NOTICE: ICMAC Dues Are due($50) at the January meeting. I will be posting a form to print, fill out and mail. If you wish to do so. Club Holiday dinner will be at the lamp light grill @ 6:30 Jan 16 2010. Everyone is invited please join us. Frozen finger fun fly is Jan 1 @ noon.
November MinutesThe Minutes have been posted for November. New pit tables.Jeff Walter, Darrel Davis and I have started to make some pit tables at Walter Field. These are intended for Helicopter preflight/Starting as well as working on airplanes. Just to note these are NOT intended for starting airplanes. As you can see on the pic we have made shelving for your field boxes. Small tables have 1 large tables have 2 . We have plans to make up to 2 more of these. We hope you all enjoy them and put them to good use.
