Welcome to ICMAC
Our club was created in 2003 for the purpose of getting together and flying remote control model aircraft. We operate out of two fields.
Walters Field at 8548 Morrison Lake Rd, Saranac, MI
Prop Busters Flying Field at 8745 Hubbardston Rd, Hubbardston, MI
There are currently 38 members including our 8 officers.
We get together the 2nd Wednesday of every month for our club members meeting.
Every Wednesday we have free training between the hours of 4pm and dusk weather permitting. Contact our club to set up a time to fly with one of our training instructors.
Throughout the year we have special events so the public can come to our field and see our aircraft soaring through the sky in person. Check out our club calendar to see if we have an event coming up that you may wish to attend. We would love to see you.

A hot lunch will be served at noon for registered pilots. Please fill out the pilot registration form below and present it at registration. We look forward to seeing you all at the field. Come learn to fly RC with ICMAC
The Ionia County Model Aircraft Club is proud offer our Student Pilot program. This program is designed to help new RC enthusiast learn how to fly. Our club will allow you to try it before you buy it. We have a fleet of trainer craft. We will allow you 3 instructed flights on these craft for free. Then if you decide you would like to join us in our fantastic hobby we will assist you with.
